The first tip that Dr. Oz offered to his viewers is that they should not focus on the number of pounds that they need to lose, but on the number of inches that they lose. He said that someone’s waist should be half of his height. Be careful when you measure your waist because you will have to measure it at your belly region.

If your waist is more than half of your height, you should definitely start a diet. Dr. Oz also says that belly fat can affect our kidneys, our blood pressure and our cholesterol. And all of these three things have to be under control if we don’t want to have health problems.

There are other 9 tips offered by Dr. Oz to those who want to lose weight in a proper way, without being necessary to put their lives in danger. The second important tip that was offered by Dr. Oz regarding a person’s diet is to do daily exercises. If you don’t have enough time to make physical exercises at a gym or inside your house, you can simply walk every day for 30 minutes.

It’s very important for you to know what is your exercise capacity and how much you resist doing physical effort. This is also the best factor that indicates how well and how long you will live. There are many ways in which you can walk 30 minutes each day. For example, you can park your car further from the place you need to go. If you have a stationary bike, you can use it while you watch your favorite TV shows.

Before you start a diet is very important to clean your refrigerator and put things in order. You should read the ingredients written on the labels of all the foods that you have in your fridge and if they are not compatible with your diet plan, you should get rid of it. Be sure that you will not keep in your refrigerator foods made of saturated fat, sugar, bread, corn syrup and trans fat. After you finished this process, go shopping and purchase only the foods that are on your diet’s menu.

You should also eat fruits and vegetables that are rich in fibers, because in this way you will be able to control the blood sugar levels.
