This is a list of healthy fats! In case you didn’t know until now, there are bad fats and healthy fats. Healthy fats are good for our health and they help us to maintain our body in the proper shape. Bad fats should be avoided by all of us, because they can do harm to our health if we constantly consume them.

Too much fat can harm your organism, because it will raise your cholesterol levels and you risk having problems with your heart. If you want to follow a healthy diet you should know that healthy fats add a considerable number of calories in your organism. So, control the quantity of fat that you are eating every day, because you will avoid diseases like diabetes, cancer and osteoarthritis.
If you don’t know how to choose the healthy fats you should know that there are two main categories: monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats. Using these 2 types of fats you can be sure that you will not have any medical problems with your heart, which means that you will prevent heart disease. Polyunsaturated fats are those fats that are having Omega 3 that is benefic for someone’s heart.
It also helps people to maintain a normal level of heartbeats. Monounsaturated healthy fats are represented by olive oil, avocados, peanut oil and of course, by nuts. Polyunsaturated fats are represented by sunflower oil, corn oil and soy oil. When it comes about foods with high quantities of Omega 3, you should know that you can find them in salmon, herring, sardines, flax oil and walnuts.
You can use the oils that I’ve told you about when you prepare salads or foods that you prepare in your oven. Just be sure that you respect the quantity that is written on the recipe. You can also eat these healthy fats as snacks, because you can eat walnuts and nuts while you are at school or while you are at the office.
